Things you can do to help Uprising and Motorcity
If anyone uses Twitter:
Tweet these guys and let them know we aren’t happy about what’s happened to Uprising and Motorcity. Tweet bombs can make a big impact.
Sign this petition to bring both back:
It’s got 320+ signatures so far and counting. It deserves a whole lot more and I KNOW there are thousands of fans out there who could sign this. Spread the word!
If you’re cool with phones:
Call the number provided here. It will also provide you an email address if you don’t like talking to people (like me).
Spread the word.
Reblog and tell others about these options. I tweeted the petition to Charlie Bean myself and I’m messaging major Tron groups on Facebook. Make the effort. Let your voice be heard.

Project Frisbee: TRON Lives
I’ve seen the technique work in the past were fans send items to a studio to get the point across that they want a show to be given a second chance. I think the most famous incident I know of was the fans of the show Jericho sent the studio hundreds of bags/cans/bottles of peanuts with messages of wanting a second season. And the ploy worked. Jericho was renewed for a second season.
Earlier today I joking said if it were summer I would say we send frisbees with “TRON Lives” written all over them. A friend then linked me to a page to make custom frisbees and this was born:
My goal is simple. Everyone find a frisbee, doesn’t matter what kind or color. Find a permanent marker, one that would stand out against whatever color the frisbee you find is, write the above on it and mail it to the Walt Disney Studio:
C/o VP and GM of Disney XD Worldwide David Levine
500 S. Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA. 91506
I am 200% in favour of confusing and inconveniencing people who dismiss the shows I enjoy. Like, I don’t think these things can do much (the Twin Peaks campaign was pretty big in its time, for example, and the show was still shelved) but the thought of this guy getting frisbies all over warms my terrible little heart. Rock on!
He (Clu) took everything from me. Everything but my name. ”
